Whats's in a rig part1. The poor rig
Some anglers say location is the most important aspect in Carp fishing. Others say (including the tackle industry) rigs are important.
I decided to put this to the test.
Here a poorly construced rig is placed in a good location.
The rig has not been sabotaged, all components are new out of the packet and the hook is sharp. however, its all wrong. The hair is too short, the balance is wrong, the lead is too light and the knots are reverse tied etc. This poorly constructed rig was rejected by the fish about 20 times over 3 hours. Here are the highlights.
What do you think?.
