Can Fish See the hook + Rig etc, in Coloured Lakes?
Here a really murky "commercial lake" is chosen for the test.
A snowman rig is cast out into 4 feet of water and the camera slowly lowered until it is inches from
the bait. No lighting is used, although it was a fairly sunny day (10:00AM).
Notice how when the camera gets close to the bait how much you can see.
From a distance the rig is invisible. However, when a fish takes a bait it must by default be very close
to it, not from a distance.
So, how much of our tackle can they see?
